Carlo Michelini

Carlo Michelini has been Equity Chief Investment Officer and Senior Partner of the Equity Investment Team since 2007. Thanks to his extensive experience in the origination, management and execution of mergers, acquisitions and finance deals, he steered the course of the major investments of several portfolio companies and was responsible for the structuring and fundraising activities for Fondi I, II and III, Fondo ANIA F2i and Fondo per le Infrastrutture Sostenibili.

Prior to joining F2i, Carlo worked for 16 years at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking division, both in London and Milan, where he held positions of increasing responsibility until becoming Managing Director in 2004.

He graduated in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan.

He is currently Deputy Chairman of 2i Rete Gas, Chairman of KOS and F2i Medtech, and a Board Member of Farmacie Italiane, Compagnia Ferroviaria Italiana and Ital Gas Storage.
